DTC offers several opportunities for adult tennis. Members and guests can enjoy organized play in the form of Point Plays, Round Robins, Club Tournaments and Socials. Clinics and group lessons are available for those players looking to improve stroke mechanics and/or looking to increase understanding of doubles/singles strategies.

DTC is also host to USTA, WTT and CUP matches and home to 3 Cup Teams and 8 USTA teams. Our staff would be happy to help players find leagues to join in the DE, PA and NJ area.

12 & Up Tournament Training
This clinic is designed for skilled players of all ages who want to achieve a higher level of play and improve their competitive performance. Concepts of offense/defense will be introduced in both singles and doubles. Ball control exercises that enhance consistency, direction, depth and spin will be stressed. A variety of adaptive skills will be trained using dead ball drills, live ball drills, and competitive play situations in all areas of the court. Participants must play in USTA tournaments to stay in this group.

Future Stars
For ages 9-13. This clinic is designed to teach basic stroke mechanics, footwork, and movement skills toddler children with or without previous knowledge of the game. The combination of drills, games and match play will make this an exciting format where students can learn and have fun. Students may be divided based on skills. Balls used are green dot tennis balls.

High School
This clinic will provide the competitive high school player the opportunity to fine-tune their techniques and movement. All aspects of the court will be emphasized. The clinic will focus on drills that enhance movement, recovery, and decision making skills. Situational and competitive pay will be planned in the clinics. Balls used are regular yellow tennis balls.

Hot Shots
For ages 6-8. A beginner clinic designed to teach the children the basic strokes with the proper grips. They will learn how to move effectively to ensure good position and balance for each shot. They will be taught how to adapt to different situations and to control a follow through in both the forehand and backhand strokes.

Junior Summer Camps
Junior camps provide on court instruction and supervised point play for all skill levels. Delcastle Tennis Junior Summer Camps are open to ages 5 & up and the camp is tailored to your child's age and abilities. DTC's weekly summer camps are structured by utilizing specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions, and modified scoring. Enrollment Policies: Minimum of 6 kids per pro is required to conduct camp; There will be no make ups for missed days; Payment must be received on or before the first day of camp.

Munchkins
For ages 4-5. A child's first experience on the tennis court - an informal environment that establishes a foundation for gross motor skill development. Basic movement and coordination skills will be introduced. The children will learn to receive and send the ball with their hands and racquets. Balls used are foam balls and red dot tennis balls.

These sessions are great for players brand new to tennis, or for players who have been away from tennis for awhile and are looking to get their timing back or to further develop their strokes. 6 to 1 student to Pro ratio.
